1. CAN's School

CAN builds and operates two types of schools in Liberia to serve communities and contribute to the nation's long-term educational development.

Change Agent Network (CAN) fully funds, constructs, and operates these schools. The property is deeded to CAN, ensuring that the school remains a permanent asset for the benefit of the entire community and future generations. CAN is responsible for maintaining the local sustainability of these schools, ensuring that they serve as pillars of education, growth, and opportunity.

These schools reflect the deep commitment of CAN's founder, Eric Wowoh, to give back to Liberia. Having experienced blessings and opportunities abroad, Eric believes it is his duty to share those blessings with those still facing hardship in Liberia. The schools are not personal assets but gifts to the people, built to provide opportunities for children and young people to break the cycle of generational poverty.

Eric Wowoh believes that to whom much is given, much is expected. He sees himself as a steward of God's resources, not for personal gain but to plant seeds of hope, joy, and opportunity through education. His life story serves as an example of perseverance, faith, and service to others, and the schools built by CAN are a reflection of this mission.

Purpose

CAN's schools serve as beacons of education, faith, and empowerment. They aim to uplift communities by providing quality education, nurturing leadership, and offering students the tools they need to live fulfilling, purposeful lives. These schools are built with the belief that true legacy comes from service to others, and they stand as symbols of hope and opportunity for Liberia's future.

Eric believes that his journey from refugee to international leader is a testament to the power of education and faith. He knows that while his personal struggles have passed, the responsibility now is to uplift others.

CAN Schools Program

The Change Agent Network (CAN) builds and operates schools in Liberia, focusing on breaking the cycle of poverty through education, faith, and economic freedom. As of 2024, CAN operates two distinct types of schools: CAN's Schools and Partner Schools. Both models share the common mission of uplifting Liberia's youth through education, faith, and service.

CAN's Schools are fully funded, constructed, and operated by CAN. These schools are built on land deeded to CAN, ensuring they remain permanent assets dedicated to serving the community for generations. CAN is responsible for the local sustainability of these schools, providing ongoing support to ensure they continue to thrive.

CAN’s founder, Eric Wowoh, established these schools as a way to give back to Liberia. Eric, having been blessed with many opportunities and resources through his journey, believes that sharing these blessings with those left behind is his responsibility. The schools serve as a legacy of hope and empowerment, offering education as a pathway out of generational poverty.

Eric sees himself as a steward of the resources he has received. Through CAN's Schools, he seeks to plant seeds of joy, fulfillment, and opportunity. By focusing on education, CAN helps ensure that future generations of Liberian children have the tools they need to succeed.
